This list is just an example of abbreviations, acronyms, and symbols that have been commonly used by CLC interpreters to save time and writing space when taking notes during medical interpreting sessions. These are merely suggestions and inspirations for you to make your own. You do not have to use these, nor will you want to. Once you have crafted your own symbols that works for you, the next step is to practice them! To memorize new symbols takes time and do not come overnight. You need to PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE, and put them into use.
